RETURNING of the materials can be done at the Selfcheck Machine or by using the book drop.

The interlibrary book loan service is one of the services offered by our library only to full-time students. Among the libraries involved in this service are Malaysian public libraries under CONFERENCES OF UNIVERSITY LIBRARIES AND NATIONAL LIBRARY OF MALAYSIA (PERPUN) and also Private Higher Education Institutes. The amount of material that can be borrowed from other universities is 2 books and the loan period given to students is for two weeks.

Every lecturer in the university community is welcome to suggest the purchase of library resources.

This collection is specifically provided for distance education learning students. The loan can be done through post, but the cost of delivery must be bare by the requester. Photocopy services also is available with the cost of RM0.10 per page and post services fee. Below is the table list of regional centers under the USM Library. Note: Deposit of RM20.00 (money post/cheque) must be made under Universiti Sains Malaysia for the above-mentioned services.

Borrowing privileges will be suspended as soon as you are charged RM10.00 and above in your library account. Privileges will be restored when outstanding charges are paid. ♦ Overdue fines will be applied for items returned after the due date. Here below are the fines charged table for borrowers.
