FAQs - Carrels & Discussion Rooms

Perpustakaan Hamzah Sendut (PHS) FAQs are available for use by all library patrons and visitors.

Yes, for carrel rooms you are allow to use if you are the postgraduate student or academic staffs of USM with a certain fees for one semester. For details information, refer to this link (Carrel room brochure)

Lockers are provided in front of the library to store customer's belonging. There are 3 types of lockers:

• Free of charge

• RM0.20 per use (key locked)

• RM10 per semester (rental)

2) Can I reserve a carrel room in the Library?

Carrel room cannot be reserved; patrons have to wait for the announcement posted by the library about the renting at the beginning of every new semester and then come personally to the library to apply for the room

3) Where can we do group work?

Patrons can do a group work etc in the Discussion Room provided in the library.
