PEMBUKAAN SEMULA PERKHIDMATAN BAHAGIAN MALAYSIANA DAN ARKIB, PERPUSTAKAAN HAMZAH SENDUT, UNIVERSITI SAINS MALAYSIA

LOKASI: Perpustakaan Hamzah Sendut (PHS)

PERKHIDMATAN:

Rujukan dalaman bahan Malaysiana dan Arkib; imbasan; muat turun bahan mikrobentuk; perundingan.

TATACARA/GARIS PANDUAN:

Untuk mematuhi Garis Panduan Kesihatan Awam Negeri dan Universiti serta keselamatan staf barisan hadapan dan pengguna Perpustakaan, perkhidmatan Perpustakaan adalah dilaksanakan dengan tatacara norma baru (new normal) di lokasi bagi mencegah penularan Covid-19 (rujuk garis panduan di https://www.usm.my/index.php/covid19 ) seperti pemantauan diri pengguna bergejala di pintu masuk (pengambilan suhu), pencucian tangan, pemakaian pelitup separuh muka, penjarakan fizikal di ruang membaca dan kapasiti pengguna di ruang dalaman perpustakaan yang terhad bagi mengelak keberadaan pengguna dalam tempat tertutup (peredaran udara terhad) yang lama.

Sehubungan dengan itu, beberapa langkah yang perlu telah diambil seperti berikut:

  • Perkhidmatan di Bahagian Malaysiana dan Arkib dibuka kepada 8 orang pengguna sahaja pada satu-satu masa.
  • Permintaan bahan dibuat melalui borang secara dalam talian sehingga jam 3:00 petang sekurang-kurangnya satu hari sebelum pelanggan datang merujuk di Bahagian Malaysiana dan Arkib melalui pautan kod QR yang disediakan.
  • Sekiranya borang diisi selepas jam 3:00 petang permohonan akan dikira sebagai permohonan pada hari berikutnya dan bahan akan dapat diguna pada hari kedua.

  • Bahan yang dipulangkan selepas penggunaan akan melalui proses kuarantin selama 72 jam untuk mengurangkan risiko penyebaran virus melalui buku dan permukaan koleksi yang lain.

REOPENING OF SERVICES AT MALAYSIANA DAN ARCHIVES DIVISION, PERPUSTAKAAN HAMZAH SENDUT, UNIVERSITI SAINS MALAYSIA

TIME: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

SERVICES:

In-house reference of Malaysiana and Archives materials; scanning; microform download; consultation.

PROCEDURE/GUIDELINES:

In compliance with the State and University Public Health Guidelines as well as to ensure the safety of Library frontline staffs and users, the Library services will commence with new on-site procedures and guidelines to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 (please refer to the guidelines: https://www.usm.my/index.php/covid19) with measures such as: monitoring of symptomatic user at the entrance (temperature screening), hand sanitization, wearing face mask, user limitation and physical distancing at reference area in order to reduce the number of users presence in the limited air circulation space.

Due to that, few initiatives have been taken as follows:

  • The Malaysiana and Archives Division will be open and limited to only 8 customers at any one time.
  • Materials can be requested through the online form until 3:00 pm at least one day before the customer comes to refer at Malaysiana and Archives Division via the QR code link provided. 
  • If the form is filled in after 3:00 pm, the application will be counted as an application on the next day and the material will be available on the second day.

  • Materials returned after use will have to undergo a 72-hour quarantine period to reduce the risk of spreading the virus through books and other collection surfaces.
