1) What is Malaysiana & Archive?

It is a division where Malaysiana & Archive collections are kept. Malaysiana

collections encompass of any publication about Malaysia, Brunei or Singapore, while

archive means any printed materials about USM. Apart from the core, there are also

other collections such as Special Collections (Gerald Hawkins, Kassim Ahmad, Prof.

Muhammad Haji Salleh, Tun Hamdan Sheikh Tahir, Prof. Dato' Dzulkifli Abdul Razak and

Kaum Peranakan) and Rare Books Collections (published before 1945 for Malaya, before 1900 for non-Malaya).

2) Does Malaysiana collection can be borrowed out?

Collections can only be referred within library premise.
